Bundlicious I heard recently, maybe on IGN, that the PS2 would likely drop to $159.99 this spring and that a bundle would probably be available for $199 that included the Network Adaptor or Hard Drive. Do you guys have any news on this or speculation on when something might be announced? The PS2 is the only other system I don't have yet although I have like, 13 games for it.
Go figure. I'd much rather buy a bundle than buy it all separately. Thanks ya'll!!
Sincerely, Larry Lammers II
Adam Responds: The hard drive? Most likely not until November – you remember Square saying that they wouldn’t release FFXI until Sony dropped the hard drive, and early November is the list date for FFXI, so I did the math.
As for the Network adaptor, Sony has no plans as of yet to make such a bundle official. Numerous other companies, such as superstores like Best Buy or Toys ‘r’ Us or game-specific stores like EB or Gamestop, are known to offer their own bundles – for those, you’d have to check individually, but they often include the hardware, some games and some peripherals – perhaps the Network Adaptor may make it on that list at one point in the near future.
But rumor is circulating that all consoles will be dropping in price $50 at some point this May. We’ll keep you posted. Namloco asks, loudly JUST WONDERING IF ED FACTION 2 IS A CO-OP GAME THROUGH ITS MISSIONS OR JUST A MULTIPLAYER DEATHMATCH GAME?
Brendon Reponds: What's up NaMLoCo,
Red Faction 2 is strictly one-player when going through Story Mode, so no, none of the actual missions in RF2 can be played with two players. Moody about SC2’s difficulty Hi I read this review somewhere about:
SOUL CALIBUR 2
Is this True...
“However, we've found the AI in single-player -on the default difficulty setting at least – severely lacking in places. Take Rafael, for instance. If you choose him, you are able to beat the entire game by simply tapping the main attack button. It's rare that you have to change this tactic at any point.
As a result, we've used this tactic to unlock many of the game's secrets without any particular difficulty. It's a shame that this wasn't picked up on in playtesting, we're disappointed by the one-player Mode.”
Please let me know
Thank You Scott Moody
Joe Responds: Hello Scott,
Yes, this is essentially true. The Soul Calibur 2 difficulty settings are a tad mislabeled. There are six difficulty settings for single-player play. These are Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Ultra Hard and Extremely Hard. The default setting, Normal, should really be called Easy. Hard should be called Normal, Very Hard should be called Hard, etc.
It really doesn't impact gameplay. All one needs to do is take the difficulty up a notch. By the way, if you're worried about even the harder settings being too easy- Extremely Hard is really tough, even for those with lots of Soul Calibur experience. I can't win more than two fights on a single continue in that mode yet, and I've put over 50 hours into Soul Calibur 2, not to mention the hundreds of hours I've put into the first Soul Calibur.
I hope that answers your question. Thanks for reading. Battle Rappin’ I was wondering if Def Jam Vendetta has two player mode before I bought it. Thank you for your time
Sincerely yours

Adam Responds: Yes it does, but not in the way you might hope. There are plenty of two player options such as Tag Matches (in which you and a friend can team together), handicap matches, and simple one-on-one matches. But none are integrated into Def Jam Vendetta’s Story Mode, sadly. PS2 Castlevania Blues Will it be the rue sequels for Symphony of the Night? I hope yes since the ending of that game is a bit hanging? Also I want too see what happened to both Alucard and Maria and also richter. By the way i hope this game is not just hype. Look at what happened to Metal gear 2, it has a bad story and gameplay.

Brendon Responds As of right now, details of the new Castlevania are tight under wraps. All we know at this point is that the game will feature a new star character, and the title has a good chance of being fully 3-D. Expect to find out more at E3 in May.
It's certainly not impossible for the game to be a true sequel to SotN, but truthfully, I've been waiting for the true sequels to Castlevania 2 and Castlevania 4 for years now. Sadly, it seems it's not to be.
Adam Adds Two VERY early, VERY poor quality leaked screens are floating around the net, proving indeed that the game is in full 3D. Certain indications onscreen show that the game will play like a less hyperactive Devil May Cry, although the screenshots are fuzzy enough that it’s hard to tell anything really. But unless Alucard has taken on a decidedly different fashion bent (or is a secret character), then it’s pretty sure not to feature Alucard.
But don't be too down about the 3D setting. Both Devil May Cry and Rygar have practically been 3D spiritual successors to the Castlevania games in more then one way, so it can’t go too horribly wrong.
