Jerry Lee asks: Is SOCOM US Navy Seals going to be only for PS2? I have a PC and I am very interested in this game because I am a retired Navy Seal.

Joe: Sorry to get you down, but Sony has not announced any plans for SOCOM on the PC. Stranger things have happened, though.

Mob Guy says: Hey, I think you are the best gaming website out there. Congrats and keep up the good work. Awesome!

Joe: Mom, is that you?

The Gamer Master asks: How sure are you about Nintendo having another Gamecube price drop? I am supposed to get Gamecube June 2nd for my birthday but I guess I will hold on to my money until you guys post more about the price drop. Of all of the systems I would think XBox would go down in price. Considering It sold less than PS1 this year so far. I wouldn't be surprised if XBox went down in price. Gamecube on the other hand had a great E3 and will probably have a good year ahead of them not to mention an awesome 2003. I don't think they would have to drop the price of Gamecube. By the end of this year they will probably be selling twice as many consoles as they are now. Plus, Gamecube is already only $150.00 and it has only been out for about 8 months. Anyway, from the way I read it, it sounded like the guy's opinion. Please write back.

Joe: I don't believe the GameCube will drop in price again until the holidays. I would agree that Nintendo had an awesome E3; it was certainly the best of the show. Because of this, there’s no reason for them to drop the price again just yet. As for that news article, (http://www.gamingworldx.com/news/Japaneseanalystsarepredict.html) we merely reported that Reuters News Service reported that some Japanese analysts were predicting another price drop soon. I really don't see it happening, but it could.

BMX King asks: What is that Dave Mirra XXX thing you mentioned in your first set of E3 impressions? Is it like Tony Hawk 2X?

Joe: Actually, I’m planning an editorial on that particular game. It is essentially Dave Mirra 3, but the objectives are all “mature.” Instead of say, grinding some phone cords, the player must now “fix the fireman’s limp hose” and “stop the kid from peeing in the pool.” The player is then rewarded with strip shows, which are said to feature actual nudity. I actually had a chance to chat with the Executive Producer for Dave Mirra XXX while at E3; the highlights of that conversation will appear in my editorial.

MaximoMan asks: Are you guys still hiring? Where can I get an application?

Joe:
We’re always looking for new writers! There’s a link to the staff application on the main page, but you could also just CLICK HERE. We have no special requirements for writers, so long as they are dependable and can write well.

PS2Dude128 asks: Man, I’ve always wanted to go to E3!! You’re so lucky dude! How’d you do it? Was is as fun as I think it was? Keep up the good work with the site. Thanks.

Joe: It’s not really all that difficult to get into E3, as long as you’re over 18. If you meet that requirement, the easiest way to get in is to work a part time job at an electronics store, like Best Buy or Electronics Boutique. You’re also eligible if you write for a gaming site with a business license; that’s how I got in. After that, if you can get yourself to LA and find a hotel, you’re in. It was really fun, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. It was much more stressful than I thought it would be, though. Everything is very hectic there! There are booth appointments, long lines, lots of walking and, of course, there was lots of writing to be done. Still, it was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever done.
