Prince of Persia Sequel In Development

A follow up to GWX's 2003 Game of the Year is in the works.
Ubisoft today mentioned during the rundown of its fiscal earnings that a sequel to the critically praised The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is currently being planned.
"Today, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is a resounding success for our group," Said Ubisoft Chairman Yves Guillemot. A sequel to this hit is already being planned with an improved marketing positioning."
Unfortunately, no further information was released. It is unknown whether Ubisoft intends the sequel to be released on the current generation platforms or plans to develop the game for PS3, Xbox 2, and Nintendo's next system.
