Joe Mackie

He's Guts, the lead character
in Berserk. Born from a corpse and raised by mercenaries,
he has become a warrior of immeasurable power. Guts
once survived a battle against one hundred men,
all on his own. He lives for battle, no matter the
odds. Like Guts, I enjoy a good challenge. After
all, there's no greater feeling in gaming than pushing
one's skills to the very limit.

Joe joined up with GamingWorldX shortly
after the official site launch in February of 2002. Joe
has brought numerous ideas to the site, including the implementation
of avatars. He is also our most active forum member. When
Joe isn't playing or writing about videogames, which is
rare, he's probably enjoying a good roleplaying session
or watching some anime. Although Joe and Sonny have frequent
arguments, Joe Mackie is truly what GamingWorld X is all
about. He's the local cynical bastard, and he's also managed
to become editor-in-chief of our beloved GameCube department.
Joe is in college, and hopes to write about games for a
living in the near future.

Nintendo Editor in Chief – That means I’m
the boss. I write articles for all sections of the site,
but also handle the mailbag.
My Very First Game
Asteroids on the Atari 2600. It was my first taste of
gaming; I've been hooked since.
