of no one character more appropriate. If you have
not seen Ralph Bakshi’s classic animated flick
Wizards, you need to. If you do see Wizards and
you find the animation rough and the story wanting,
you may be right – but you still don’t
get it. |
Paul Michael, or “Pablo”
as he is so lovingly referred to by the GamingWorld X president,
joined up with the GamingWorld X team just a couple months
ago, and has been running the entire site for the most part
ever since. It hasn't always been so easy for him, though.
Paul was made, not born. And
if that causes you any confusion, you are going to just
have to figure it out for yourself. Paul grew up in a
desert, he doesn’t even remember which one, just
that it was hot as hell. As soon as he was old enough
to get a driver’s license he spent about 8 years
roadying for several washed-up sixties rock acts, including
Re-upholstered Bullfrog, the Crimson Teabags, and Paul
Revere and the Raiders. The pay was poor, but there sure
was a lot of stuff happening on the road.
After witnessing the Bullfrog drummer
die from choking on someone else’s vomit, Paul had
an epiphany, and finally decided to go to college. Deciding
that he wanted to learn the cornerstone, the building
blocks of all the humanities -- the Classics (i.e. Greek
and Latin literature), he walked into Springfield University,
read the sign, and was instantly accepted. After forming
a strong, sexual relationship with his Pornography 101
professor, Sonny Uppal, he decided to take part of the
online extravaganza, and became an editor for the Sony
GamingWorld X department. Although he spends most of his
time translating Latin, he is truly one crazy mofo' that
writes one hell of a review.
Duties around the Site
As the oldest member of the site, it is Paul’s
primary job to empower the youth – not so much with
wisdom and experience, but so all other GWX staffers can
say “Thank god I’ll be better off than Paul
in a few years.”
